      Day Five

      *BIG sigh of relief*
      WE ARE DONE RECORDING!!!!!!!!
After having a week to listen to the demo Greg cut for me, I got together the remaining mandolin parts and critiqued all the songs. I decided to go back and re-do the vocals on La Llorona, which turned out to be re-doing the whole thing. In the end, I am VERY happy with it. After half a cup of crunchy coffee, (filter tore, hehehe!) I recorded the mandolin tracks for Amor Eterno, Hombres no Deben de Llorar, Historia de Un Amor, and La Llorona. I brought in Coco the stuffed monkey for luck...I think he worked! It was funny because whenever Greg would give me a practice run of a song I'd play the mandolin part perfect. Then when I would do it for real, I'd flub it....I think he was ready to fake me out so I'd do it right the first time after...oh, say....3 tries of the same darn riff....*grin* Anyway, looks like we are going to do the mixing on Sunday, the 5th...I'm excited!! Until then!
